Applied Research & Education Collaborative is committed to meaningful community engagement that supports learning, connection, and access. Our work is rooted in collaboration with schools, families, educators, and organizations to create inclusive, responsive, and strengths-based opportunities for learning and participation.

Areas of Focus
Our community engagement work spans a range of educational and learning contexts, with particular attention to inclusive practice, creative expression, and applied learning. Leadership & Service
Community engagement initiatives are guided by the leadership of Angela Benveniste, DSW, and Creatives, whose combined experience in education, research, and creative programming reflects a strong commitment to service, mentorship, and community collaboration. Their work emphasizes organization, care, and a shared responsibility to support learning and connection beyond traditional institutional settings.
